IMAS Course

On the 2nd of November members of Ronin Budo were invited to attend a course at Modern Combatives & Self Defence Academy in Derby. This course was organised by the Institute of Martial Arts & Sciences (IMAS). IMAS seeks to promote high professional standards for Martial arts as well as encouraging academic research into Martial Arts.

Sensei Charles Spring is a founder member of IMAS and encourages Ronin Budo students to attend these courses. These courses are open to all styles which helps to promote links between clubs as well as giving students more insight into other styles.

The instructors for the day were well known and knowledgeable figures from their respective styles with a wealth of experience. We encourage students to attend these events in order to broaden their knowledge. More information about IMAS can be found at https://www.imas-online.org/
